Step 1:

X values retains, and take the opposite values of Y

Step 2: Plot the coordinate points of the vertically reflected image

A'(-5,1)

B'(-1,2)

C'(-2,5)

D'(-6,4) 

 

Step 3: Connect the points to get the reflected shape. 

Symmetry resulted from horizontal reflection is described as Horizontal line of symmetry which cuts the figure into a top and bottom that are mirror images of each other. It is like you folded the Cartesian plane into half along x-axis, and the two image will meet exactly having the same shape and size.  

Since, the shape and size remains exactly the same as the original , the type of transformation occur is called isometric transformation.

Thus , the image is isometric to the object.
