When all six faces are squares it looks ike the following .




It is a rectangular prism because a square has only right interior angles and if a straight line is perpendicular to two interesting straight lines, lying in a plane,  

 then it is perpendicular to this plane. Thus, all faces will be rectangles, a square is a particular case of a rectangle.
