Linda needs 17.5 hours her to read the same book.

Step-by-step explanation:

The number of words read in 1 minute by Maria = 200 words

The time taken to complete the book = 14 hours

Now, 1 hour = 60 minutes

So, 14 hour = 60 x 14 = 840 minutes

Now, the total words read by Maria in 840 minutes

= 840 x ( Number of words read per minute) = 840 x (200) = 168,000

Hence, in total 14 hours, Maria read 168,000.

So, the book has 168,000 words in total.

Now, The number of words read in 1 minute by Linda = 160 words

So, the number of words read by her in 1 hour ( = 60 minutes)  is

= 60 x (160 words) = 9,600 words

⇒ Linda reads 9,600 words in 1 hour.

So, the number of hours taken to read 168,000 words by Linda  is 168000/9600=17.5 hours.

Hence, Linda needs 17.5 hours her to read the same book.
