Describe your new dipping sauce or condiment and explain how it would be eaten or what foods it would be paired with.
Mustard barbecue sauce will be my new dipping sauce. This mustard barbecue sauce is a delicious combination of sweet, acidic, and spicy flavors. The combination of apple cider vinegar and yellow mustard, which has a reasonable level of sharpness on its own, gives you a double whammy of tang. The brown sugar and honey add a delightful sweetness, the herbs add a welcome savory flavor, and the cayenne adds tantalizing spicy overtones. If you want to increase the overall heat level, you can easily add more cayenne pepper or spicy chili flakes to the mix. Simply eliminate the cayenne and concentrate on the other ingredients if you prefer a milder version. Mustard BBQ Sauce is very tasty when paired with pulled pork and crunchy coleslaw on a sandwich. It's also delicious drizzled over grilled pork chops or chicken. I've also had it with smoked pig ribs, which brings out the tanginess even more. Still, nothing beats smoking a couple pork butts until they're fall-apart tender, then covering the meat with this incredible barbecue sauce. So tasty and endlessly pleasurable. Pulled pork is one of my favorite foods.
