A potential consumer undergoes a certain process before making a decision to purchase any item. Firstly, I will first identify the problem which in this case is the need for personal to ease my commuter challenges. As a consumer, I am aware of my problem which is the need for a car. Secondly, I would do thorough research to gather information concerning types of car I am interested. The information can be obtained from visiting google searches and related articles on cars, visiting car yard and interrogating sales team about your interested car types. Furthermore, the information can be gotten from friends who own cars as they are aware of different types of cars. Third step is Evaluating Solutions. As the consumer, I will make a shortlist of brands of cars I need. Consumers always evaluate the type of cars as per the information gathered to identify the the one that suits the needs and budget. Fourthly, the purchase phase occurs. At this stage, I have already made up my mind on which car I want and thus can make the buying decision of the car and go ahead and purchase. Lastly, after making the purchase decision, consumers have the follow up to confirm if the car I bought has the specifications I needed and evaluate if I made the right choice.
