In a situation where their is both selective distribution selling out products and exclusive distribution in an organization, I will prefer the former since it entails distributing commodities at select outlets in specific regions. Unlike the exclusive distribution that involves selling a product through one or very few outlets, the selective option enables a firm to possess and control its target market.
