Specific: I want to work at 3M and be regarded as the best marketer. I will gain skills in marketing from an international point of view because it is something I have always wanted to attain as my number one career objective. I need to have a degree in marketing, experience and qualification in marketing, be a good communicator and lead by example. The primary challenge is lack of enough skills, i.e. experience.

Measurable: I will measure my progress based on the number of feedback I get from the posts I make on platforms like Facebook, Twitter and the company website. Potential clients and sales made through my marketing platforms will also help gauge my progress. I will know if my goal has been achieved through recommendations and feed-backs.

Achievable: I will work in collaboration with my team members and fully embrace the instructions and advices shared by my supervisor. I will be interactive, read more about marketing in the modern world and implement what I am told by the supervisor.

Relevant: Being the best marketer at 3M is definitely a worthwhile objective and it is the right time as it will make me more responsible and professional. My degree and previous work at my local store show that I have enough resources to attain my goal. The goal is in line with my long-term goal because it acts as a stepping stone to a better future.

Time-Bound: I intend to accomplish my goal within a timeline of three years, i.e. between 2021 and 2023. I intend to start working on the goal this February, so as to permit me enough time to attain my objective.
