What employees do is based on what they have and how they feel.discuss
A "positive response deriving from confirmation of an individual's possession of attributes on which worth or desirability rests" is what it means to feel valued. We feel valued when someone recognizes our own traits or anything we've done that has benefited the organization. Someone might notice our hard work ethic or optimistic attitude, or a particularly high-quality report we've completed. Feeling valued has another facet to it. Certain circumstances can make us feel unappreciated. This is about the workplace architecture, policies, and managerial behaviors that shape our experience. We don't feel appreciated if we don't believe things are fair and just. Particularly if others are treated unfairly.
