The national parliament of Solomon Islands has discussed enacted an amendment concerning the private member's motion raised by Hon. Patteson Oti, a Member of Temotu Nende, controls the distribution of the Constituency Development Fund. In this case, the Rural Constituency Development Fund (RCDF)has been depicted as the disburser of the financial matters to fund constituency development concerns.
The benefit of such decentralization is that, with the equal and transparent mode of funds allocation, the constituency development will be evenly applied across the constituency.
The characteristic highlighted in the case study concerning good governance is the issue of sorting out even distribution of CDF to all regions of the constituency.
Concerning the TPA characteristics, the case of involving the private member to raise the CDF distribution issue is the concern that depicts the transformation in the management system.
