Explain “Training programmes are helpful to avoid personnel obsolescence”.
When an employee's knowledge or talents are no longer sufficient to function successfully, this is referred to as obsolescence. It could be the result of a person's inability to adjust to new technology, methods, or other changes. Employees are more prone to become obsolete as the environment changes. Employees' thinking is shaped by the training process, which leads to high-quality performance. When employment requirements change, job-specific skills obsolescence occurs. When employment in an occupation or a sector of industry shrinks, workers may be forced to move jobs, and their skills may lose their value.
