Identify the various objectives of marketing departments and provide an example for each.
The first objective of the marketing department is the creation of demand. This is achieved by informing customers about available products. An example is advertising available brands of chocolate, which the customers will buy.
The second objective is maintaining customer satisfaction. The marketing department ensures that the products bought by customers satisfy them, thus enhancing customer loyalty. An example is by ensuring that a fashion design meets all the customer's needs.
The third marketing objective is to raise the percentage market share among the total sales. Having a larger market share guarantees more sales. An example is coke drink and Pepsi type competing for a market share
The fourth objective is to make profits from the sales. A company cannot survive in the market without generating profits. An example is The shell oil company. It cannot remain in the market without profits to run the organization
The fifth objective is to create a trusted image of a product. Advertising the brand is one of the objectives. Example is Nike company, its brand is well established
