I agree. Quality improvement, finance, change management, theory, and other topics were covered in every lesson I took. The genuine instructor is putting all of those pieces together and actually managing them... we learn best by doing. Imagine taking a bunch of baseball classes but never actually playing the game. Only through experience can one learn to manage and then advance to the next level, becoming a true leader rather than merely a manager. The goal is to assist students in developing critical thinking abilities in the field of management. Students study about organizational skills, leadership styles, company law, accounting, and other topics, but none of it genuinely prepares them to "be" a manager. They are only learning tools that can be used to management and leadership.
