A business is an open system that is influenced by influences both inside and outside the company. Inputs, processes, and outputs are the three aspects of an open system, and while they are all interconnected operations of a corporation, they all require integration to function well. An open system is where a corporation functions, but it is getting increasingly mixed and complex as a result of its growing engagement with its environment. For an efficient open system, a business must manage the resources that flow into the company and into the environment.
