It has become the norm to work from home, and we've moved from digitizing the relationship between firm and customer to digitizing the relationship between employer and employee. Unless companies take advantage of post-COVID opportunities, they'll be in a better position to retain and attract talent once the situation stabilizes. Some changes have been made, but COVID-19 also offers managers the chance to reinvent the future of work and make it better than it was before.
Technological advancements will require new job roles, which is one reason to promote new skills.
When it comes to the changing workplace, employees will benefit from new mindsets, behaviors and values that are taught.
A learning mindset will prepare employees for dealing with an environment that is constantly changing, even if it does so abruptly.
