Orientation- An organization needs to consider establishing new perspectives for a meaningful change and adaption of online platforms. For example, if an organization is based on the internal model, the internal functions should be updated to focus on the new changes towards online platforms.
The people- an organization should consider the changing customer values, behaviors, and expectations due to the pandemic to ensure the effective transformation to online platforms. For example, an organization can train employees and leaders to align to the new digital goals
Process- an organization should consider infrastructure and policy updates to support the digital process. For instance, developing online intelligent teams, unified systems, and customer experience platforms are essential.
Security privacy concerns- digital platforms are valuable to security and privacy issues as a result of the rising cybercrimes such as phishing, data breach, and fraud. It is crucial to consider developing adequate security measures to adopt online platforms effectively.
Training- the pandemic has forced many organizations to go online; therefore, it is important to consider investing in training employees about digital platforms to ensure effective transformation. For example, management can develop an online learning program to engage in specific training subjects.
