By giving lower-level employees more decision-making ability and supplying managers with information to supervise bigger groups of workers, information systems can minimize the number of levels in an organization. The literature reviewed in this study demonstrated the importance of MIS in improving an organization's decision-making process. MIS is defined as an integrated user-machine system that delivers information to support operations, management, and decision-making tasks at various levels of an organisation. Organizations understand that MIS is a special-purpose system that helps them achieve management goals. The study found that MIS should be accessible to deliver relevant and high-quality data from its creation to its consumers.
