The type of ethical culture in the VW case was individual ethical culture since the values of the organization and employees were associated with the scandal. Through compromising the values of the organization an of individuals, it led to the company cheating the emission test in many of its produced cars. This went on for a while and when it was discovered, it negatively affected the reputation of the organization. All levels in the organization including the management, board and employees received criticisms for the actions. it also led to doubts in the ethical values of the organization and all employees. The actions of the company have been fined in different countries.
