You have been hired as a Training & Education Development consultant for Ebhayi Furniture Store. One of the challenges faced by this small firm is that there is no clear training strategy. Management believes this has led to the company not performing effectively and efficiently.

As a consultant, advise the owner of all the types of training and development that will be relevant for each of these staff members

As a consultant in Training and Education Development, I will advise Ebhayi’s Furniture Store owner on types of training that will be relevant for the staff members as follow;

 Regarding the issue of sales consultants, I will advise the store owner to offer field sale training mostly to the sales consultant so as for the sales consultant to develop a face-to-face conversation with the prospective customer.

In the case of the cashier, the Ebhayi’s Store owner should apply basic mathematical training to the cashier to develop skills that involve the relevant playing of figures when handling monetary issues.

Moreover, the business owner should supply a cleaner Personal Protective Equipment  (PPE) for the cleaner to be in achieve basic working expectations like the staging of cleaning tools and grooming factor as well.

Furthermore, regarding manager training, my advice to the owner of Ebhayi’s store is that the manager should be given leadership and management training to enable them to meet the firm's expectations.
