Explain the difference between crisis management and issues management
Crisis management is an immediate response, while issues management is an anticipatory, strategic management process that helps businesses detect and respond appropriately to emerging trends or changes. Most enterprises recognize a crisis when it is happening, and many, if they're smart, have a plan to manage whatever misfortune befalls them. Product recalls, accidents, protests, social media snafus are among the list of possible crises. But when it comes to issues management, several organizations fail to identify potential issues and manage them properly, leading to situations that quickly become a crisis.
