Problems Facing Apple Company
Apple Company has been the technological giant in the international market marked with the production of the most valuable and high-quality electronics in the world (Kryscynski & Campbell, 2021). However, the $ 2 trillion revenue company is experiencing stiff competition from its rivals like Google, Samsung, Blackberry, etc., have also resorted to the production of high-quality electronics to topple Apple from the top position that it currently holds in the international market(Evans, 2017). This competition has been a significant challenge to apple since it has caused a reduction in profit margins, reduced product life cycle, etc. The transaction processing system is the best system that can solve the competitive rivalry that exists between Apple and its major competitors (Evans, 2017). The transaction processing system constitutes a clear record of all purchases and sales made and other business activities that are essential for business operations.
The transaction system ensures that all customer and client information is kept confidential to improve customer service delivery and build customers’ trust in the company. The trust will make customers prefer Apple’s products and services to those of the other competing companies hence widening its market base and consequently increasing its profit (Kryscynski & Campbell, 2021). Again, the transaction information process system enhances accuracy in the use of customer information and prevents potential leakage of the company’s confidential information to its rivals which in turn use such information to heighten competition against Apple.
