List and discuss at least three components of IT infrastructure briefly
Information technology (IT) infrastructure are the constituents necessary to maneuver and handle enterprise IT settings. IT infrastructure can be positioned in a cloud computing structure, or in an establishment's own amenities.
These constituents consist of software, networking elements, hardware, an operating system (OS), and databank, all of which are employed to distribute IT solutions and services. IT infrastructure products are accessible as downloadable software applications, which function on top of existing IT resources such as online solutions provided by service suppliers, for instance, Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS).
The components of IT infrastructure include;
Hardware
Hardware comprises servers, routers, databanks, individual laptops, switches, and other equipment. The amenities that accommodate, cool, and power a databank could also be incorporated as a share of the infrastructure.
Software
Software denotes the applications employed by businesses, for instance the OS—like Linux® and content management systems. The OS is accountable for managing system resources and hardware, and creates the links between software and the physical resources that ensure things are running well.
Networking
Interrelated network constituents allow network operations, communication, and management between interior and exterior structures. The network comprises internet connectivity, firewalls and security, network enablement in addition to hardware such as switches, cables, and routers.
