It is a database system that normally companies pay to get access to in order to enhance their marketing campaigns from the useful insights that they will gain from accessing the information in the database. From the information accessed companies will be in a position to tailor make their marketing campaigns to suit the needs of the target market.

This is a human resource information system which is a database system in the human resource department containing information such as all employee details. The main functions of this system are; payroll processing, easing the reporting process, recruiting, skills testing and administration.
