Starbucks and Hennes & Mauritz are both leading business enterprises in retailing beverages and clothing, respectively.
Integrity
Honesty in every business is paramount. For Starbucks, it owes its customers full disclosure of the ingredients used in the beverages customers are buying. H&M, which retails clothing, ought to label its clothing with the materials used. Preferences vary in clients, and by being honest with the ingredients or material, clients get to pick what is best for them.
Respecting employees
Employees play a critical role in linking the customers with the owner of the business. They are the company's face, and respecting them goes a long way in ensuring they give excellent service to customers. H&M and Starbucks have some of the best perks in the work environment, such as health benefits, flexible working schedules, and discounts, among others. H&M and Starbucks have both been recognized worldwide among the best employers and workplaces.

Starbucks is helping veterans, refugees, and military spouses secure employment that would help them better their lives.
Excellent customer service
Customer service is the basis of running a successful enterprise. Popular business slogans such as 'the customer is king' are not just slogans. H&M and Starbucks value their clients, and they strive to satisfy them in an effort to retain business. If you walk into an H&M retail store, you will meet a smiling attendant who will welcome you and attend to you until you finish shopping. Starbucks trains their employees on outstanding customer service, and they have mastered keeping the customer happy (Marie, 2019).
Conclusion
H&M and Starbucks may be dealing with different commodities, but they are both businesses. Social behaviors and ethics apply to both of them; the only difference is the application methods. For instance, integrity as an ethic is important to both enterprises, but Starbucks must be honest about ingredients and H&M clothing materials used.
