 Advantages of departmentalization

 Departmentalization of my firm will bring about specialization in operation of various functions of the company. For instance, the marketing department will only handle sales issue, the finance department will deal with financial issues in the organization, etc. hence leading to an increment in operation speed, accuracy and generally improved quality of service in the firm. Departmentalization also makes it easy to do performance appraisal. Since a task si given to a specific person or department of the organization, it is rather easy to measure and value the performance of tasks in departmentalized organizations.
