Q1. Stefan’s contingencies towards the new black box technology are that he is thinking for applying for a transfer to the customer service department where all he will have to do is communicate with customers on the phone. Besides, he has just begun to get comfortable with the old system but mentions he is thinking of transferring to the new system.
Q2. Angie is the second team member discussing the future implementation of the new black box security system; he has developed a contingency of being employed and doing her best in the Black box technology and make the company’s clients happy.
Q3. Erika is a new affiliate for the new security system, and based on his contingencies regarding the execution of a new black box security system, he has wide practice with black box technology and security systems. Eventually, Erika considers if the security system is put in place, they will get rid of the old security system, antiquated equipment. Therefore, as a new hire for the company, Erika is aware of the tremendous progress this technology will bring to the company.
Q4. As a manager this situation, I would enroll a participative leadership style which would be ideal as rooted in democratic theory. However the essence is to involve team members in the decision making process thus making them feel included engaged ad motivated to contribute to decision making.
