The life examples of penalties applicable within information technology act 2000 is imprisonment of up to five years or/and with a fine up to 1000000 on first conviction ,imprisonment of up to 7years with a fine of up to 1000000 upon second conviction. Such a penalty is applier to a person who commits the offence of publishing child porn or predating children online.

Another penalty applicable according to article 2000 is a three years imprisonment or/and with a fine that reaches 1000000.This type of penalty is given to people who commit information technology offences of receiving computers that are stolen or other communication devices.
