Explain in detail two (2) real-life cases of penalties being imposed for offences under
Information Technology Act, 2000. Please explain the facts and the nature of the offence
in detail.
The life examples of penalties applicable within information technology act 2000 is imprisonment of up to five years or/and with a fine up to 1000000 on first conviction ,imprisonment of up to 7years with a fine of up to 1000000 upon second conviction. Such a penalty is applier to a person who commits the offence of publishing child porn or predating children online.
Another penalty applicable according to article 2000 is a three years imprisonment or/and with a fine that reaches 1000000.This type of penalty is given to people who commit information technology offences of receiving computers that are stolen or other communication devices.
