How can be performance appraisal can be more effective
How the performance appraisal can be more effective
The frequency of appraisals can be enhanced. Rather than conducting yearly appraisals, the management can make bi-monthly quarterly appraisals to have more information to analyze and a well-rounded program for implementation. Also, they can set clear objectives and expectations. Most workers tend to complete their appraisals without clear expectations of both the procedures and outcomes; this results in varied employee participation and appraisals done for the sake of it rather than results. Finally, technology like the performance management software can be used for collecting and analyzing information to offer an extensive report to both juniors and senior management.
