a.Project: Developing effective PPE

The scope of work varies depending on the project, but these concepts remain constant.

  1. Begin by considering the end goal, and then completely establish the problem statement. Although several considerations must be considered when scoping a project, the end-point vision is what drives comprehension and dedication in the rest of the process.
  2. If you've identified the problem, you need to figure out what's causing it. Understanding the result and the problem is a good start; however, understanding the root cause(s) of the problem is critical. Is the patient flow question triggered by factors inside or outside the hospital? Are patients receiving treatment in the most suitable environment for their needs? Using a fishbone diagram can help in understanding the root causes.
  3. After you've figured out the root causes, create key milestones and risks for the project. After the outcome, the issue, and the root causes have been established, the root causes can be linked to the outcome statement. This is better done as a high-level list of accomplishments from a scoping perspective. Milestones are important outcomes that the project achieves before and after the work is completed.
  4. Understand how you'll know if you've succeeded.
  5. Note:It's not only a matter of recognizing the issue; it's also a question of deciding if the company can embrace the issue and commit to change.

b) How does leadership resonate with effective project management?

Since the ultimate performance of any project is decided by its participants, developing leadership skills is critical for project management. Leaders, also known as project managers, are in charge of overseeing projects and making strategic decisions that will determine whether they succeed or fail. A good project manager must be able to communicate, organize, express a vision, be truthful, prepare, be versatile, and make decisions.

c) Examine project manager’s knowledge competencies and its applicability to any contemporary ICT project of your choice.

Communication, leadership, management, and cognitive capacity are the key competencies that make up the personal competence area.

-When properly implemented, communication is a core competency that binds every member of a project team to a shared set of plans, objectives, and actions.

-Leading entails guiding, empowering, and encouraging team members and other project stakeholders to successfully address and resolve challenges in order to achieve project objectives. Since IT is so complicated, a manager must be a great leader.

-Managing a project is concerned with how well an IT project manager can administer the project by deploying and using appropriate human, financial, material, intellectual, and intangible resources.

-IT project managers need cognitive abilities, which are brain-based skills, to accomplish any task, from the easiest to the most complex. Cognitive skills have little to do with actual intelligence and more to do with how IT project managers understand, recall, solve problems, and pay attention.
