How I will Apply Each of the Theories of Motivation to Motivate Workers as a Manager

The major role of managers is to assist their employees to have the desire of working more, hence help their companies to successfully achieve their goals. As an administrator, I will motivate my staff through the application of various models. In all the theories, I might need to use concepts such as setting attainable goals, empowering workers to be bosses themselves, and measuring goals using the SMART acronym among others.

To be among the highest performing managers, I will involve workers in projects from the start to the end. Such staff might become extremely motivated and accomplish their duties better since I value their jobs. I will meet the workers and ask them to think of various business ideas that might help our company make high profits. When the employees see me welcoming their input and involving them in the corporation's processes, they will likely produce high-quality work.

To motivate the workers continuously, I will set attainable goals. Realistic goals assist in showing the personnel how other employees attained such objectives before. If the staff work on goals, which they think that they might not attain, then they will not have the motivation to work and finish their duties well.

Finally, I will apply each of the theories of motivation to encourage workers by using SMART goals. Goals ought to be specific, measurable, attainable, results-oriented, and time-bound (Conzemius & O'Neill, 2009). When I use the SMART goals, the staff will know that we have decided to aim at outcomes, which need them to be fully committed because I will hold them responsible if they do not highly perform as agreed.

In summary, to successfully apply motivational theories at the place of work, I will engage workers from the beginning to the end. Then I will link objectives to each employee's goals. Finally, I will to realistic goals and familiarize ourselves with them as required.
