The migration of Filipinos from central and northern parts of the Philippines to Mindanao has led to serious social and political conflicts; the main issues in Mindanao is displacement, poverty, economic concerns, intercommunal tensions ad clan issues causing the conflict. These problems have led to the destruction of livelihoods in the region and have a significant impact on the future of Mindanao. Development and socio-political conflicts may lead to further destructions in the future and saver impacts on Mindanao's economic, social and economic development. This will go a long way in affecting intercommunal cohesion and increase disrespect for diversity and communal integration in the region in future. The shelter and safety of the communities living in conflicts will continue suffering from the impacts of the issues and become victims of crowded populations and intercommunal war in the region. It is, however, the role of the government and the other interested organizations to address the matter and provide solutions for the future of people living in Mindanao
