Define the term The Atlantic Slave Trade, and explain why you think they are important in the world history
The Atlantic slave trade refers to the transportation of the enslaved African people by the slave traders to America. It used the triangular trade route and it existed between the sixteenth to nineteenth century. The Trans Atlantic slave trade caused the greatest forced migration in global history where millions of Africans were forcefully transported to other parts of the world to labor in hardship. It created the 'African Diaspora' who are dispersed Africans living in other continents outside of Africa.
