Combining children from the two age groups is not suitable because their understanding is different. Children below 4 years cannot understand many words and, therefore, should be taught separately. In addition, they only speak a few words and, hence, their stories should comprise a lot of pictures and few words. Also, the teacher should repeat the words all the time for the children to understand the story. Contrarily, children between the ages of 4-6 years can understand and talk many words. In addition, there is no need for a teacher to repeat the story most of the time because they can understand easily and contribute by asking questions.
