Workplace bullying and cyber bullying have various similarities and differences. Similarities include psychological health issues, stress and social isolation issues experienced by the victims. Differences include the fact that on one end the mistreatment is face to face while in a cyber scenario, the mistreatment is behind screens. Another difference involves the age difference between the two scenarios where in the workplace it is among one's peers, whereas on the web it is with a mixed age group of people. The last difference involves the personal touch that workplace bullying has over cyber bullying. This is because of workplace bullies have more access to you and your personal information that would make your day to day more dreadful. This is opposed to the web or cyber life where one would just choose to go offline without consequence to their work life.
