Objectivity- academic writing is more complex than any other form of writing since it entails use of longer words, it is lexically more dense, and has more varied vocabulary.
Formal- the language used should be formal and avoid colloquial words and expressions. This means that no short forms should be written while writing an academic document.
Precision- the facts and figures in academic writing should be precise and not just random numbers since it tells us more about the topic of discussion and inaccurate figures and facts will led to an irrelevant conclusion of the topic. With this in mind, the topic will be null and void and will lead to a misunderstood conclusion.
