Attention problems- Learners with attention-deficit disorders might perform poorly in school or even fail when not supported in terms of clinical and behavior treatments.
Anxiety problems- Learners who constantly worry or are uneasy cannot function normally in class leading to missed school or incapacity to complete their studies
Mood and affect problems- Learners with mood and affect disorders are prone to depression and vulnerable to suicide tendencies which adversely affects their performance in class if the issue is not addressed effectively and on time.
Behavior and conduct problems- Learners with conduct and behavior problems occasionally violate the personal and property of their fellow learners, are aggressive and prone to harm others if their condition is not diagnosed and treated early.
Interpersonal and social problems- Learners who experience difficulty establishing or sustaining interpersonal and social associations are prone to poor performance in school alongside a range of other emotional challenges.
