discuss the idea of separating speakers of English into first, second and home language categories. Based on your experience and your understanding of the process of learning English and using English in the classroom, do you think it is fair to separate the teaching of the English according to whether one speaks it as a first, second or home language?
I believe that it is not fair to separate the teaching of English according to whether one speaks it as first, second, or home language. Notably, second language speakers significantly benefits from learning together with the English as first language speakers since they can note their differences in aspects such as articulating sounds and pronouncing words. Therefore, Interacting with the English as first language speakers in the same class significantly helps those learning English as second language to improve their skills.
