With the advancement of technology nowadays, it is very essential to integrate it in our day to day activities and sectors of the South African economy in order to improve service delivery. One the key sectors that really need this integration is the education sector to enhance education quality. This means use of technology in enhancing learning experience of the students through applying different types of technology, having virtual classrooms and creating active learners. The benefits are but not limited to;

• Facilitating acquisition of basic skills.
• Enhancing teacher training to the students.
• Enables shifting of learning to a learner centred approach.
• Enables continuity of learning especially a time like this during the COVID-19 when interaction and movements were limited to control spread of the virus. Most of the schools opted for online classes that use the technology.
