I am convinced that students benefit from the summer break provided to them. Students are required to focus solely on their coursework and extracurricular activities during the school year. As a result, the break is critical for students' success since it allows them to relax, enjoy, and reflect.
The two-month summer break is beneficial to students because it allows them to de-stress. Students might use the vacation to relieve tension that has built up during the academic year. The break gives the pupils a chance to regroup and de-stress. For some kids, the daily work and atmosphere in the classroom can be stressful. Summer vacation helps children unwind and reflect on their academic experiences, preparing them for the start of a new school year in the fall.
Summer break provides students with a unique opportunity to learn and build social skills during the two-month holiday. During the summer, many students volunteer or work part-time. This allows kids to develop their social skills and form new connections that will benefit them in the future. Students don't have much time to socialize during the school year to meet new people and establish new acquaintances during the summer. They have the opportunity to concentrate solely on themselves and their mental wellness. It is well known that many students prioritize their schoolwork over their mental health during the school year, which can be detrimental.
In brief, students should be given a summer break because it benefits them more than harms them; it helps them relax, allows them independent time, and gives them more possibilities to learn.
