However, there are various challenges that these technologies present. The following are the pros and cons of integrating technology into the curriculum:

Pros

1. Enhances engagement of the learning environment; technology promotes learners' ability to participate actively in the classroom.

2. Promotes collaboration; technology provides an opportunity for students to help each other when using different technologies, thus increasing collaboration

3. Make work easier; as a teacher, technology enables teachers to reduce workloads, prepare for class sessions and increase the quality of service delivery.

Cons

1. Lack of sufficient technology materials; integration of technologies is expensive, and the resources such as computing devices are not enough for all learners.

2. Undermines hard work; technologies make work easier for students, and students are now becoming lazy and more reliant on online resources

3. Misuse of technology; learners are prone to misusing the technologies; they can use computing devices to access explicit materials and non-educational resources at the wrong time, such as entertainment.
