Report on Covid-19 Awareness across the 5 Southern Provinces of South Africa

We recently organized for a week event on the awareness of the effects of Covid-19 to the population and why people should keep masked and continuing observing Covid-19 laid guidelines by the ministry of Health.

Audience

We reached out to more than 4 million people within the 7 days of rigorous campaigns. We used to attend market days and have a crusade and people could join us in listening and taking note. We noticed people were keen on the effects since it had caused deaths on many people.

Key business Metrics

The campaign was a social affair that sought to rescue people from ignorance of the effects and how to take care and was successfully done.

The media monitoring tool was the Ministry of Health results on Covid-19 control in the areas based on the number of infected people per day. It is worth noting that the number of infected people per day has reduced significantly.

Recommendations

a) Government should initiate as many campaigns as possible to help reach out to many since many still believe Covid-19 is not real.

b) Instead of one on one campaigns, we can incorporate social media platforms too to reach out further.

c) Provision of public notices on vaccination to help build the herd immunity.
