Freedom

We live well until the pandemic strikes the world,

Meeting freely with family members,

Friends and loved ones.

Now, we are forced to live in the captivity of our home.

No meeting, no sports, no churches and no ceremonies.

We are all mandated to wear a mask,

Wash hands regularly, and obey social distancing,

We have lost the freedom to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Explanation: This is a free-verse poem; it does not follow poetry rules and has no rhyme. The poem is about the loss of freedom due to the pandemic; in this poem, freedom means what we used to do freely before the pandemic.
