Talkative classrooms are very vital as they enable a teacher to understand learners well since when they speak their mind, he/she finds out their weaknesses, strengths, and areas that need help.

Here are a few suggestions and strategies to get your students talking more, and you talk less.

1. Give Students Time to Think.-A teacher should give the students time to think before they demand for answer.this gives the student time to comprehend the questions asked.
2. Use Active Learning Strategies.-Use live examples or day to day scenarios this enables the learner to identify with the learning.
3. Use Tactical Body Language.- Actions and examples make the learner understand more clearly.
4. Think about Your Questions.- A teacher should ask and address his/her questions with outmost clarity.
5. Create a Student-Led Forum- This will improve their socialization skills will help them learn from each other.
