students tend to feel uncomfortable when they are changed school. This makes them drop in their performance in attempt to adapt to the new environment. Bearing this in mind I would help a student who just changed her school to better her new environment by visiting her frequently in the school and asking her how the new environment is. I would also help in enhancing her perception and expectations by telling her that the new school environment is just similar to that of her former school and all she needs to do is to settle down and plan on how to improve on her studies.
