How do your findings promote or impede the general aims of the South Africa Curriculum (CAPS:DBE,2011:4)?
What can you learn from your findings with learners being involved while others were not?
What techniques/strategies could you adopt to ensure that you involve all the learners while teaching?
It will ensure that learners acquire and apply knowledge and skills in ways that are meaningful to their own lives. In this regard, the curriculum promotes the idea of grounding knowledge in local contexts, while being sensitive to global imperatives.
The aim of the curriculum is to help every child to develop knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors for life, learning, schooling and work.
