1) The challenges encountered in the utilization of instructional technology to facilitate the teaching and learning process include; budget limitations to facilitate the process, lack of professional training, poor network infrastructure, resistance to change by teachers, no systems in place to utilize technology in the curriculum, unreliable devices such as electronic materials, and software.
2) Factors that could have led to the challenges encountered include; inadequate classroom space that will accommodate a large number of computers, teachers' distaste to take the students to the computer laboratory, lack of expedient access to computers at home, inadequate infrastructure, and pitiable planning.
Additional there lack of technology skills and knowledge, specifically in pedagogy and classroom management. Institutional barriers, including leadership, class schedules, and school planning. Teachers' attitudes and beliefs about technology's benefits and relevance. Assessment pressures, including high-stakes testing.
3) I would recommend intensive training. Frequent and goals-focused training is vital to any teacher's success, collaboration, and socialization opportunities of teachers, digital team, and parents to assist where possible in navigating usage of devices, make sure teachers are supported, appraise,d and developed to motivate them, utilize a variety of technology options, and connect to students individually.
