Health Professionals and School Health Teams
They serve a critical role in conducting screening, assessment and support (SIAS) functions as drawn in the SIAS policy and improve health safety in schools. They are required to provide services such as psychological and occupational therapies within the education system.
Teachers
Teachers play a significant role to ensure that all learning programs are achieved; they serve an exclusionary role to help identify learners in need of special support.
SBSTs
They support DBSTs personnel to ensure successful inclusivity in the education system and prove support to learners in the decision-making process and problem-solving in areas of critical concerns.
DBSTs
The help to promote inclusivity in the education system through curriculum delivery, training, resource allocation, response to barriers to learning and conduct general management duties
