A simple sentence has the most basic elements that make it a sentence: a subject, a verb, and a completed thought. Example, Joe waited for the train.

A compound sentence is a sentence that connects two independent clauses, typically with a coordinating conjunction like and or but. Example, I want to lose weight, yet I eat chocolate daily.

A complex sentence is formed by adding one or more subordinate (dependent) clauses to the main (independent) clause using conjunctions and/or relative pronouns. example: I like to eat the candy before I watch a movie.

My lost wallet

I lost my wallet in the classroom. I tried very hard to search for it but the place was very crowded. I must report the matter to the administration before I go home.

Correct spelling and grammar will help your employees understand your instructions better, thus avoiding any confusion or misunderstanding about what is expected of them. The result will be less time wasted trying to work out poorly worded instructions and more time spent doing the job.
