How to apply the SACE code of professional ethic "exercise authority with compassion" in the class? What should a teacher expected to do under this ethic?

SACE has prescribed disciplinary procedures where there is a complaint of alleged breach of code. There is initial investigation of the alleged breach. The matter may then be referred for disciplinary hearing. The SACE developed comprehensive rules to govern disciplinary hearing, in terms of which rules of natural justice apply.

Teachers are expected to cknowledge, uphold and promote basic human rights, as embodied in the Constitution of South Africa
