According to Grimmer [2019], the main reason why imagination of a young reader is important is because it enables them to link with the world and deal with the various situations it presents to them. In simple terms, it increases the inventiveness of the learners and inclines to their emotional growth.

Some known examples of children books that increases imagination include; Beautiful Oops, by Barney Saltsburg: This book is a complete pearl that shows children that with a bit of creativity, our mistakes can be turned into discoveries. 

Another example of children book that increase imagination to them is; ‘Winnie the Pooh.’ The book is the story about a teddy bear and it inspires imaginations about soft toys among young readers.
