I think that self-driving cars are not safe. Self-driving cars may not be able to pilot through heavy rain or snowstorm that could alter the painted lines on roads and highways. It can make independent navigation systems. Additionally, self-driving cars may give drivers an incorrect sense of safety. They make people become lazy and irresponsible and cannot be held accountable of whatever happens within the self-driving cars. They can be controlled from a technological point of view to cause accidents intentionally.

Self-driving cars are unsafe because they can be hacked simply because they have been invented as a result of technology and the same technology can be used to hack them something which brings danger to the passenger and other people in the road.
